If you, or the person receiving your gift, are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please contact us at the time of delivery and we will work to ensure your satisfaction.

How to care for your Flowers

Your flowers will last longer if you follow these few simple rules.

Ensure that the container you are going to use is washed thoroughly to ensure your flowers do not come in contact with bacteria from former flower arrangements.

Always use the flower food that we have provided (the flower food sachets come in two sizes to be added to ½ a litre or 1 litre of water) we suggest that you do this in an empty mineral bottle this way you don't waste your flower food. It's best to use tepid water as could water contains more oxygen and this can cause air locks in the stems thus preventing the uptake of water to the flower head causing faster deterioration.

Hand ties.
Upon receipt unpack your flowers and cut about an inch off the bottom of the stems and remove all foliage that will fall bellow the water level.

Arrange your flowers in your chosen vase and add some of the water containing the flower food, it is not necessary to fill your vase to the top, enough to cover the bottom of the flower stems is sufficient (about 2 to 3 inches) then just top up daily with water containing flower food. Never allow the water to totally evaporate this will cause the fibres in the stem to dry out and prevent water uptake when you top up your vase thus causing your flowers to die prematurely.

Aqua Packed arrangements.

We properly condition all our aqua pack arrangements, this means you can leave the arrangement in it?s original packaging and just top up daily with water containing flower food that has been provided. Alternatively follow the instructions as with hand tied bouquets (this is best done over a sink as your aqua pack will contain water whilst your flowers are in transit).

Arrangements in floral foam.

Before we arrange the flowers for you, we soak the floral foam in water treated with professional flower food so all you need to do to enjoy your flowers is; top up the floral foam daily with water containing the flower food we provide.

Vase arrangement.

As with all our floral arrangement we will have already properly conditioned the flowers and treated the water used with flower food, all you need to do is place your flowers in your chosen display area and maintain the water level not forgetting to use the flower food provided.

You can if you wish re cut the stems after a few days and repeat the process but as the flower food we provide has an anti bacterial agent the water should not stagnate and your flowers should last a good week.

As recommended by all good florists; do no place your flower arrangement in direct sunlight, drafts or near a direct source of heat. Should you have any questions about our tried and tested methods, please feel free to contact us we will be happy to offer advice on how to get the best possible vase life from your flowers.

|
